Claussen's Return Policy~
Claussen’s Florist, Greenhouse & Perennial Farm will exchange items or issue a store credit equal to the amount paid for plants or merchandise if approved by a manager. Please read further return policies below regarding specific items.
Garden Center & Gift Shop Merchandise- must be unopened, unused, in resalable condition and accompanied with a receipt (within 30 days from purchase) for a return. Clearance items are final sale, therefore are non-returnable. Pottery cannot be returned after customer has planted within the container. A No return policy is implemented on all Pillows and Throws. Holiday items such as Christmas and Easter are not returnable after day of purchase. Seasonal holiday merchandise cannot be returned after the holiday.
Houseplants - returns/exchanges are accepted up to 10 days from date purchase, in original & resalable condition. Are you returning due to problem/damage? If so, please email ([email protected]) a picture and/or bring in the plant for us to determine the cause of the problem. If diseased, please bring in a leaf/flower/stem in a clear plastic Ziploc bag to determine, this way it will not be exposed to other plants in the greenhouse. Plants that are damaged by physical injury, lack of care (incorrect lighting location, planting depth, over or under watering), or exposure to extreme light or temperatures, and/or other adverse weather conditions voids all guarantees. Exchange or full store credit will be determined based on the condition and reasoning of the plant being returned, and length of time since the plant was purchased.
Perennial & Shrubs- Claussen perennials are guaranteed through November 1st of the year purchased (through the growing season). We do not guarantee over-wintered perennials (see exceptions listed below). All claims must be accompanied by the original receipt. Please see our Perennial Department to process the claim. Plants that are damaged by physical injury, lack of care (incorrect lighting location, planting depth, over or under watering), or exposure to extreme light or temperatures, and/or other adverse weather conditions voids all guarantees. If you have questions on a perennial or shrub that did not overwinter, please contact our Perennial Department to discuss what is going on, how to help the plant, etc.
Seasonal Plant (annuals, chrysanthemums, poinsettias, Easter lilies, vegetables, etc.)- returns/exchanges are accepted up to 10 days from date purchase, in original & resalable condition.
