While annual flowers might only see one Vermont summer, they are a joy to have in your garden! Most annuals are planted at the end of May once the chance of frost has passed. They can be planted throughout the summer and will bloom until the first frost. Annuals are versatile and make wonderful bedding plants. They are also used in window boxes and seasonal containers.
