Perennials By Bloom Color
One focal point of any great perennial bed is the flower color. If you plant just a few perennials that bloom all season, you'll enjoy a beautiful summer of color. By using the list below you'll be able to determine which plants will be able to fill your color needs. For example, perhaps you have a section of your garden that you're trying to make stand out, you might choose to plant a bed or blue Iris or purple Lobelia. Looking to add some soft light to a bright counterpart? You might choose to plant pink Astilbe or white Lilium. With so many colorful choices, you'll be sure to find just what you're looking for. Please note that colors can vary in shades appearing to be a different color. For example, Aquilegia's blooms are blue, however come in various shades of blue leaning towards purple.
