Perennials By Bloom Color

One focal point of any great perennial bed is the flower color. If you plant just a few perennials that bloom all season, you'll enjoy a beautiful summer of color. By using the list below you'll be able to determine which plants will be able to fill your color needs. For example, perhaps you have a section of your garden that you're trying to make stand out, you might choose to plant a bed or blue Iris or purple Lobelia. Please note that colors can vary in shades appearing to be a different color. For example, Aquilegia's blooms are blue, however come in various shades of blue leaning towards purple.
